In Memory of RICKEY DALE CRAIN
February 18, 1953 - October 2, 2024
We are saddened by the sudden passing of a legacy Legend and one of our USPF Board of Directors Members, Rickey Dale Crain. His generational Crain family legacy, starting with his father and now his granddaughter, has been in existence for 60+ years. Rickey is an inductee in both the USPF Hall of Fame and York Barbell Hall of Fame. Powerlifting USA magazine had labeled him the G.O.A.T. powerlifter in the 165 lb bwt class. He was a 5-time World Champion, multiple National Champion, and made/broke numerous World, National, and State Records. He was the inventor of the Okie Power Bar and owner of Crain’s World where he housed both his business and gym. Rickey was still active in ALL aspects of powerlifting and the USPF (United States Powerlifting Federation) as not only on the Board of Directors, but also as USPF OK State Chair, Meet Director, and Internation/SWP Referee. His plethora of knowledge of powerlifting and its history was invaluable.
