If you’re coming from out of town, Oregon Ohio is located right outside of Toledo. If you’re flying in, arrangements can be made to fly into either Toledo Express Airport or Detroit Metro Airport about 45 min away. There are plenty of hotels within a couple miles of the meet.

Oregon Ohio is located right on Lake Erie where you can spend time on the beach, go fishing, enjoy a Toledo Mudhens baseball game, explore the Toledo Zoo, visit the Toledo Museum of Art, experience The Imagination Station, or even make the 50 minute drive to Sandusky Ohio to enjoy Cedar Point, one of the world’s largest amusement and water parks.

The closest airports are Toledo Express and Detroit Metro.
A larger airport is Detroit, approximately 40 minutes from Oregon.

Covid19 Safety Precautions for the 2020 USPF Nationals in Ohio:

We are excited for the upcoming 2020 USPF NATIONALS and cannot wait to see the fantastic lifting that the lifters have been working so hard to achieve.

With all that’s been going on regarding Covid, there has been questions and some concerns.  Everything possible is being done to provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere.

Here is a message from the 2020 USPF Meet Director, Mario Rizo:

The USPF Nationals will not be canceled unless the President of the United States closes down the county or the Governor of Ohio mandates something that we can not hold this meet.

I've attached a snip-it of what Ohio and more specifically Lucas County is mandating for COVID. Line item "E" says that as long as we can maintain 6' apart a mask is not required indoors. I have EMT'S coming that will be working a first aid table and will be checking temperatures as everyone walks in the door. This will be for everyone's safety and health. There will be some folks who will need to wear a mask at certain points but not at all times ( i.e. loaders, spotters, possibly judges etc...).The venue is huge so we will be able to achieve social distancing easily. I'm also handing out masks to every person walking in the meet. I will also have nitrile gloves for people if they choose to wear them and hand sanitizing stations around the venue.

I will ensure the things I've mentioned are readily and available for everyone.

We are covering all bases. The meet will be fun and safe for everyone who participates or is a spectator.
